
City of Lauderhill
Incorporated in 1959, The City of Lauderhill is located in central Broward County, less than one mile west of Fort Lauderdale. The business community is comprised of service organizations and light industry with residential housing being single and multi-family residences.
Residents enjoy the city facilities that include several beautiful parks, tennis courts and ball fields, two swimming pools and facilities for leisure-time activities.
The Inverrary Golf and Country Club is the site of the Jackie Gleason Inverrary Golf Classic and Rick Macci Classic. Lauderhill is also home to the annual spring Caribbean Festival "Unite-A-Fest", created to showcase the different cultures of Caribbean countries in the form of foods, arts and crafts and music. Over 57,000 residents live in the 7.6 square mile city which has developed into a rich and vibrant community.
